About Me

My “Why?”

My name is Pat Madden, Ph.D. and I value clear and direct communication.  That level of professionalism requires audience consideration, critical thinking, careful reasoning, and well-crafted writing.  I value collaboration and mutual respect.   My satisfaction comes from assisting others with their writing.  My purpose is to help raise the bar for all of us in striving to understand one another.

My focus is on collaborating with you to identify your intended audience and to assist you in reaching them effectively. Whom do you need to persuade or inform?  What is your purpose?  How will your audience benefit from your words?

I will edit your work to help you reach your targeted audience more effectively through appropriate voice, tone, diction, and reasoned argument.  Carefully crafted writing greatly enhances your credibility with your audience.
